Nope i am staff there it is not allyoucan eat
Delicious and fresh but also a bit pricey.
The sushi was delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The vast menu is a great upside.
Extremely satisfied...OMG... This is the best sushi place on earth... The food is great... Presentation is marvellous... Great customer service... Extremely neat place with a beautiful rustic look and feel... Very cozy... If you happen to be on the Westisland, definitely make it a point to visit Avocado and you will not regret it...
The best Sushi in the west island. Very cute, cozy atmosphere. Great staff. My favorite place to come for an intimate meal and great sushi! The only downfall, is one busy evenings, it can get a little loud. But doesn't take away from the experience as a whole!
Not the best experience. There was a dog hair in my salmon tartare.
Tried to make a reservation for 8 people and they insist that We do a pre set menu. I asked that we each order a la carte whatever we would like off the menu and they refused. I think this is absolutely ridiculous.. I understand if it was a large group of 15 people or more... but 8 ppl ... i'm sorry not acceptable.
What a fantastic find. Unique specials. Great service. Very sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. The service was just as comforting as the ambiance. We all felt immediately at home and welcome. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, very attentive without hovering. Can't wait to visit again!
I had a great time and great supper at Avocado tonight! The service was very good and they were cute! Lol. 👌😊😋😋 🣠🣠ðŸ£
Disappointing, no air circulation in the restaurant, service was junior, fish quantity in sushi was generous but too much mayo and rolls weren't cut evenly.
Avocado is always delicious and quality is always there
Got into the place at 2h43pm ...was told we couldn't be served. Rude Ladycooks making facial signs to her waitress to not accept us . Unfortunately for your business me and my GF are big fans of sushi and won't be coming back.
This is my #1 go to West Island spot for an impromptu date night. The food is amazing (mouth watering), the service is always great and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. I really have nothing bad to say about Avocado. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to large groups or families but for 2-4 people, it's the perfect intimate environment with spectacular food. I've been here more than 10 times and they are consistent in every way!
Always an amazing experience. Sushi is the best! Fresh & the rolls are so inventive and extraordinary! Great drinks, great service, great place!
Amazing sushi! One of the best around the west island. Their fish is always so fresh and their rolls are very creative and delicious. Cute little place; one of my favourites for a date night. Always great service & great cocktails too. Not so traditional but oh so good!
I went there 2 times. I would rate the first time 5 stars service as the owner was there. The second time unfortunately the owner was not there the service was like fast food restaurants,( annoying fake smiles waitresses that make you feel uncomfortable) But food is perfect in both times
I've dined here nearly a dozen times. I've always been very satisfied with the food but my most recent visit I was left feeling they've lost their edge. Food took too long to bring, portion of one of my favorites sushi rolls wasn't what it used to be and there was no ginger on my plate. I fear this once suburban gem is getting complacent but hope the next visit reignites my desire to continue going..
Smash a sushi shop and a quiet coffee shop together and you get this place. A very non-Japanese looking sushi restaurant with refined seating and ambiance. The menu is not huge, but your meal is sure to satisfy as the taste of the items is spot on. Even the salad tasted awesome. The restaurant is small and fills in quickly, so best to make reservations. Street parking only.
Excellent small and quaint independent sushi restaurant nestled in the heart of picturesque Pointe-Claire village. Expect it to be packed try to make reservations if you can. All the sushi is very fresh and tasty. Tried the wakame salad with octopus and squid, a lobster and a Pointe-Claire roll, arctic char and grilled eel nigiri and all were very fresh and delicious. Pretty good wines too with private imports and a variety of wines that change written on a blackboard on the wall well worth trying. Sat at the small bar and was there at closing time and was impressed by how thorough they were cleaning and found out owner was making sushi and cleaning with the crew. Definitely worth a try hidden gem in the west island of Montreal.
Incredible tasting sushi, great service and intimate setting. Perfect date night or friends dinner.
Amazing food & service! Very lovely place. Will definitely go back!
Absolutely lovely gem of a place. The menu is exquisite, creative, delicate and worth the expense. An ideal place for birthdays, celebrations or a romantic evening, this place is quaint and charming and on most nights it is recommended to make reservations. They also serve lunch specials which proves to be a little more affordable for the average budget .Once you go once, you'll definitely want to go again. Trust me. Treat yourself. You won't regret it
Wonderful atmosphere, great knowledable staff! And most importantly... the best sushi prepared right there for all to see... the best I’ve ever had. Very reasonable prices.
Quaint, super tasty, great spot for date night or a group of friends
Best sushi in the west island * Hands Down
Not kid friendly. No high chair or booster seats, minus one star. Service was very attentive. Location is nice but too dark, could not read the menu. The menu had standard sushi and custum sushi rolls. A lot of their specialty rolls has fruit in it, which I'm not a fan of. Tried the spicy salmon and spicy tuna, and a Philly roll. Fish was good, not spicy at all.We ate with a vegan family and the food came mixed with non vegan, which was not great for them.
The tartares are great and really nice salad and miso soup with the table d'hote. Better Maki elsewhere.
best sushi in mtl hands down
I’ll start by saying I wasn’t expecting much based on my experience with West Island restaurants. I was presently surprised though excellent variety of rolls and superbly fresh fish. In particular the signature scallop tartare was awesome. Definitely a place I’ll be going back to; long list of tasty looking menu items to try!
Excellent staff and an exquisite presentation of their dishes. My seafood salad with lobster, crab and shrimp was delicately seasoned on a bed of mixed greens! Absolutely delicious! Their chocolate cake in a mini jar was decadent, and delicious. The birthday candle was a nice touch. Merci!! I can't wait to return!!
What can I say except make sure this restaurant in TOP on your sushi list. Warm cozy ambiance, beautiful plates, veggie tartare is the ultimate! The staff goes out of their way to help you choose and make you feel like you're a very welcome guest. Place is spotless. Wine selection is superbe. It should be a hidden gem but it's too good to hide :-) Highly recommended.
Omg the host is the best.Food is high quality and well prepared.Stools at bar are not so comfortable.sotting at tables is better.all in all Very good.make reservations
Excellent food and special deco. Will come back again !
Superb sushi and very efficient sevice
An amazing, cute bijou place to sit down and enjoy a relaxing meal, and some of the best sushi on the island (seriously). Perfect ambiance for a cozy sushi-filled meal. Watching the sushi chefs make your meal adds a refined touch to your experience.P.S: Get the Mermaid roll is available. A tad pricey but extremely worth it!
The quality of sushi and the service is unbeatable! Great small-town atmosphere and cozy seating arrangements!
Very disappointed after reading the reviews, I was excited to try this place. FoodTaste good but they completely messed up orders with multiple parties. Get it together and let us know when we can try it again. Thanks for the refund
Great selection of sushi on the chef's choice for two. They also have their own creations, which also look very interesting. We found the desserts pricy, and the carrot cake was a bit dry.
Horrible service Smelt like dirty mop Rolls looked like they were cut with a butter knife Everything we ordered had way too much Mayo And had zero texture
Cute place, beautiful location. Food was reasonably priced. Food was laking in taste. Service was bad that's mostly why the 3 star rating. Drinks were not balanced too much alcohol. But a pretty location.
We enjoyed a delicious dining experience, with your yummy sushi dishes and a delightful evening on your patio. The Cynthia roll was amazing!
Love this place always great sushi and great staff
The presentation is really nice, but I found the sushi was a little too salty. Like Tomas Tatar, the tartar was inconsistent. I will go back eventually though, I feel like it could have just been an off-night for them
Very unique sushi. Not cheap though.
This place was recommended to me by 2 people that I trust so I was looking forward to it. The place is small and the tables are crammed ( reserving is a good idea ). Maybe it was an off night but the food lacked flavour and texture, two things that are paramount to an excellent sushi experience. Try it for yourself and you be the judge because the place was packed. We left disappointed with no desire to return knowing that there are better, more consistent options out there.
Best sushi I had on my life! ðŸ£
Great ambiance, friendly staff and food to die for!
Have just ordered a takeout, but staff was attentive and efficient. The place was packed with customers.
As a vegan sushi lover, I definitely recommend this place! By far the best miso soup, interesting ingredient combinations and a very friendly and thoughtful staff. It's a tad pricey and can be noisy inside, but still totally worth it. A walk by the water and relaxed gourmet sushi dinner on the terrace makes for an absolutely lovely date night.
What a lovely sushi restaurant in the heart of Pointe Claire. This is a must for all Sushi lovers. The fish is fresh, presentationExceptional and staff efficient and helpful. It's the place to go for great.Sushi.
